Mitchell College Senior to Attend NCAA Student Immersion Program

NEW LONDON, CT (Nov. 15, 2021) – Mitchell College senior and women’s basketball point guard Le’Sandra Turner was recently selected to attend the NCAA DIII Student Immersion Program in Indianapolis, Ind., Jan. 19-22, 2022. The program takes place annually in conjunction with the NCAA Convention.

Mitchell College Welcomes Director of Campus Safety

Mitchell College recently welcomed George Potts as director of campus safety. In this role, he will oversee the campus safety team, which provides security on campus, responds to campus emergencies, and protects college property. He will also serve as a key member of the institutional Title IX Team and manage the Crisis Response Team.

Mitchell Announces Cabaret Auditions

We know that great talent is out there! Mitchell and Thames students, faculty and staff are invited to submit an act proposal (singing, dancing, comedy, instrumental) for our Performing Arts Cabaret that will take place as part of Mariner Day! for Families and Alumni on Saturday, October 16 at 7pm!

Auditions will be held September 27-October 8, 2021.

Dr. Christopher Clouet is an assistant professor of education; Dr. Lindsay Rush is an assistant professor of science; and Dr. James Patsalides is a visiting professor of marketing, a one-year appointment.
