Welcome to Fall Semester 2025

Orientation and move-in is an exciting time when you will get familiar with campus, get settled into your residence hall, and engage in activities to break the ice with your classmates in a relaxed and fun setting with the support of your orientation leaders. Schedules and details are provided below. You also will be receiving communications by email.

Orientation Schedule

Student-Athletes (Fall Sports Only): August 15

All Mitchell fall student-athletes (men’s and women’s soccer, women’s volleyball) are required to attend Orientation.

Non-Athletes: August 21, 22, 23, 24

All new Mitchell students, first-year resident students, first-year commuter students, transfer resident students, and transfer commuter students are required to attend Orientation.

Residence Hall Move-in Schedule

All students should check-in at The Red Barn. Residents will receive their key and housing documents at check-in. Students must pay their fall bill or have a payment plan in place. New students must submit vaccination records before checking in.
