Fresh Check Day, the signature program of the Jordan Porco Foundation, is an uplifting mental health event with interactive booths hosted by a variety of campus clubs, organizations and departments. 

Fresh Check Day aims to create an approachable and hopeful atmosphere where students are encouraged to engage in dialogue about mental health.

Peace Day 2021 @ Mitchell Green

*Attention all Residential, Commuter, and Thames Students*

Stop by the Mitchell Green in between classes or when you have some free time to support peace, community, and unity at Mitchell!

Create your own peace flag, do some yoga or meditation, color a mandala, set an intention for peace, contribute to the sidewalk chalk path to peace and be part of a human peace sign. Music, snacks, and raffle prizes. 

  • Yoga times TBD
  • Students interested in being part of the human Peace Sign will receive a free limited edition Mitchell Peace Day Shirt (first 100 students). Must be on the Green by 4:00pm to receive your shirt and get into your spot for the picture.
