Adjunct Professors - FYE

Position Summary

Mitchell College is building upon our very successful First Year Experience and is searching for adjunct professors who want to be a part of our exciting liberal arts model and distinctive approach to education. By blending a hands-on learning experience with expert instruction and guidance, our FYE program is the foundation to the freshman year, and beyond. Liberal arts at Mitchell serves a population of students who may not have reached their potential or experienced the level of success they are capable of achieving, for a dynamically changing future. By utilizing our Ability Based Educational model (ABE), the entire College engages with students, both in and out of the classroom, to ensure that they have the essential skills and readiness for leading full and productive lives post-graduation.

To support this model, the College is seeking adjunct members with backgrounds in teaching, with an emphasis on English/Writing, Technology Instruction, and/or Public Speaking/Presentation Skills.

Institutional Research Director

Position Summary

Mitchell College is seeking an experienced Director of Institutional Research, who will perform complex and comprehensive analyses about such subject areas as student demographics, student academic histories, course offerings, institutional effectiveness, financial matters and alumni career patterns to provide guidance to the College’s policymakers on the effectiveness of the institution and future strategic direction. The Director uses statistical methods to collect, analyze and interpret a wide array of data to provide advice to College administrators on strategic plans for developing the College’s academic, social and administrative services. A significant portion of the position’s scope of work involves reporting institutional compliance to external agencies and doing mandatory reporting for state, regional and federal agencies. The position requires extensive cooperative and collaborative relationships with faculty, students, and staff and with professionals in peer institutions and associations.

Director or Executive Director of Enrollment Management

Position Summary

Mitchell College is pioneering a new liberal arts model, designed to enhance the student’s academic experience and ensure real-world degree applicability through cross collaborations. This methodology extends to all that we do, including our approach to Enrollment Management, which will be accomplished through a highly individualized, relationship-based approach, to meeting the needs of our students and their families. To that end, we are seeking a full-time Director or Executive Director of Enrollment Management (title is dependent on the finalist’s experience), who will be responsible for cultivating these new student relationships on campus and converting visits to deposits.
