In the Red Barn on Wednesday, October 3 at 7pm, Dr. Walter “Skip” Moore, Ph.D. Class of `62 will share a talk titled: “Not a Stepping Stone but a Launching Pad: Mitchell College’s Effect upon my Life and Career.”
As owner and clinical director of his own private practice, Dr. Moore changed the lives of his community for 15 years by directing therapists in a team approach to rehabilitation. Currently, he is the Professor Emeritus of Communicative Disorders and Psychology at the California State University in Long Beach, CA and has held prominent positions throughout his career, including consultant to the National Institute of Health. He was recently honored at Mitchell College’s May 2018 commencement with the Distinguished Alumni Award for his professional accomplishments, innovative research and commitment to education.
This event is open to the entire Mitchell community and the public.
