Children's Learning Center

The Children’s Learning Center at Mitchell College is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment in which children explore freely, gain independence, and develop positive social relationships with peers and teachers. Programs at the Children’s Learning Center include morning and full day preschool and a toddler/parent discovery program providing quality learning experiences for young children. During the summer months a school-age summer camp offers weekly sessions focusing on science, discovery and the arts. It’s a wonderful place for children to grow and learn.

The Children’s Learning Center serves as a lab school for the Mitchell College Early Childhood Department focusing on observing young children at play, recording, and reflecting as a means to better understand child development during the preschool years.
